COVID-19 Information

For all Local 29 members

The Spokane Fire Fighters Benefit Trust has the primary mission of supporting the good health of our members and their families. Given the unprecedented worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, that has never been more important than right now.

SFFBT Trustees want you and your family know how the Trust is handling clinically indicated COVID-19 testing.  Clinically indicated testing will be paid at 100% with deductible waived for in and out of network providers. The Trust Office (WPAS) is making the necessary changes internally to accommodate the out of network providers.  This type of testing was already covered at 100% for in-network lab services.

Additionally, Sav-Rx is temporarily relaxing refill too soon guidelines.  This means both members and their pharmacies that are located in impacted states of which Washington is one will be allowed to refill maintenance medications when 50% of the medication has been exhausted.  This will assure you will have an adequate supply ahead of any potential quarantine.

As always feel free to contact any of the Trustees with your questions or concerns.
